Qualifying learners will be able to:

  • Use engineering tools, measuring instruments and electrical technology.
  • Read, interpret and produce electrical engineering drawings and circuits.
  • Apply hand skills applicable to electrical  installation and maintenance.
  • Understand and apply electrical installation assembly techniques to install, maintain, repair, overhaul or recondition designated circuits, electrical machines and sub-components
  • Understand electrical theory and the application in relation to the maintenance and function of machines.

WATER & WASTEWATER TREATMENT TRAINING

Qualifying learners wil be able to:

  • Applying fundamental knowledge and understanding of legislation specific to water and wastewater treatment.
  • Operating processes at a water and wastewater treatment works.
  • Demonstrating an understanding and knowledge of equipment to be used to perform water and wastewater treatment works
  • Communicating with team workers for effective shift take-over and hand-over.

HOT WATER SYSTEM INSTALLATION TRAINING

Qualifying learners wil be able to:

  • This qualification is for any individual who is, or wishes to be involved as a hot water system installer in the plumbing sector

Qualifying learners wil be able to:

  • Communicate in a water and wastewater context.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of relevant legislative requirements in a water and wastewater context.
